Full transcript: Mary Meribida: Mine mummy, I been lose Mummy here [in Bidyadanga]. My sister, my sister, my first [oldest] sister, he been lose this one. Only sister me. Only one [left is] me. Family, brother and sister he been lose. We got plenty children, too much. I mind em [my] granddaughter here.
Donald Moko: Telfer.
MM: Right there, Kinyu. Right up, ngapi [um] … [To Donald:] Nganaji? [What’s that place?]
DM: Stock Road.
MM: Stock Road. Right in, ngapi, ngapi [yes, there], yeah.
[Donald speaking in background].
MM: Yeah, no jirriji [clothes] he got ‘em. [Laughs]. Yeah, you naked, you can sleep anywhere! Mangkajangka [bush shelter], no worry. Water time, you can sleep Mangkaja, properly, you know. Make ‘em fire. You can sleep anywhere.
DM: Tarlinyka-na nyinaku ngarrima. [In the rainy season we would camp higher up the hill.]
MM: Yeah, that’s my Country.
DM: You know mayi, mangarri ...
MM: Yeah, too much.
MM: Yeah. Emu, yeah.
MM: Yeah. [laughing]. He talk. He get ‘em [for] old people-ju. [laughs] Yuwayi.
John Carty: Did you ever see pussycat?
MM: Yeah! Too much. I know. [Hunting for] Wanykarli yarnima [small goanna].

MM: I know I know! Minynyawu and marrngu puntuji [?]. Martu, Martu he havem Japlululu. He got ‘em that one there live in cubby house. That side Yulparija, Mangala, he been fix him house. Yeah Mangkaja, cubby house! Only one!
